I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who needs Suboxone. Ive been to a few providers, online and in person and each one has tried to be more then just a Suboxone prescriber. They always have someone bragging about their education or background in drug treatment (not the reason I'm seeing them) and/or they have something mandatory they make you participate in, like a type of online meeting they hold themselves, or an independent counciling group they have made me find on my own and then prove i went completed. That's all part of everyone's individual recovery process. If im serious about this then i know what i need to succeed ...... or i have a sponsor that directs me . Ophelia checks in, asks questions and lets you know they are there if u need them, insurance makes them UA test every few months but otherwise they stay out of ur process.... Exactly what they are supposed to do! Its all support and nothing extra.

I switched from a local Suboxone clinic to this online clinic. It was great at first. Especially since I was an established patient already elsewhere. Up until recently that is. Lately, the doctors are having "emergencies" and they cancel my appointments TWO hours before. But then ask us patients for 24 hours. If I was late or didn't show up, they would charge me. But they wont give you credit or anything when they do it to you! Jokes on them though, I gave them a prepaid card with absolutely nothing on it, because I have no intentions of missing my appointment's. And because of the issue I had with unsubscribing from emails (see below). Not my fault they cant separate the texts and emails! Today is the second time that the same doctor has cancelled my appointments at last minute. My issue is waiting until last minute to do this but expecting us patients to give them 24 hours. You dont exactly have 24 hours in an emergency situation. What I'm wondering is if the doctor just called off since the weather is beautiful today and they waited until later in the day to notify me? They start at 7am and didnt tell me my appointment for 4pm was cancelled until 2pm. They send me about a dozen text messages days before my appointment and you cant unsubscribe to them because if you do, you wont get the zoom meeting link. You also cant unsubscribe from the various emails they're also sending you at the same time. Like I'm going to forget about my appointment for my medication I take every day for almost 10 years with a small break of a year or so in the middle?! When I unsubscribed from their emails, it unsubscribed me from the texts too. The text you need to join the zoom call! I almost missed my appointment because of it. They literally give you 3 to 5 minutes to join before they cancel. Probably because of how many patients theyre seeing? I'm not sure. But you shouldn't take on more patients than you have doctors for. I've only ever seen two female doctors, besides the guy who did the initial interview on the phone. When the doctor cancelled my first appointment, I asked if there were any other doctors, only to be told theres only two. I mean its better than the last place I went to which is why I haven't left. But I will say I am very close! Got me over here wondering if I could or should just stop altogether. As I said its been about 10 years now. They just throw medication at me and call it a day. I have no guidance, no support, nothing. They ask you those "wellness questions" for the fun of it, I guess. Because they dont actually treat those conditions. They will just text you info of places you could go in your area. I'm actually waiting to see those commercials that say "have you been treated or seen by" for this company. Especially after reading the other reviews. Whats funny is they are only using the 5 star reviews on their website from Google reviews. That alone should tell you all you need to know! In the beginning, if you would have asked if I would suggest this place to others, I would have said yes. But now, I'm not so sure I would. I feel like the only positive is that you can do the appointments in the comfort of your home. If you do it quickly enough that is. I have two different insurances too but yet always seem to get a $10 copay (that my secondary pays) after my appointment. I always have to message them and have them send it in. It doesnt do it automatically, I guess. But if I didn't argue with them about it and just paid it, I wouldn't know this. Makes me wonder how many are paying when they dont need to.

They are usually available 9am-8pm. Everything (from scheduling to appointments) are at the tips of your fingertips. Done by phone. (If you're not able to connect with the zoom, no worries, they will call). & They're SPEEDY! SUPER supportive, and nonjudgmental!!!! I cannot stress this enough! Ophelia Health, Thank you for taking your time and patience with my health insurance. Allow me to explain, I recently was released from jail about 4 months ago. If anyone has been in the system knows that when released from jail they don't exactly give you enough information to be able to continue your program with Suboxone. They gave me a blister pack of subs that would only last me 2 weeks and I had no insurance when I was released. Without insurance or any money to be able to be seen by a provider to continue my Suboxone program I daily had to walk 45 minutes to and from the hospital at the ER to receive my daily dose. After doing so for roughly a month I decided and realized that this is not going to work with the thought in the back of my mind getting high would just be easier. That being said I'm now in a transitional recovery house and with the Wi-Fi I used on my phone I started to search for an online provider for my Suboxone. I was skeptical about using an online doctor or provider using zoom which turned out to be great. Not only for the medication but all the staff that help me within Ophelia health was able to get me seen by my provider within a couple hours. I was having issues with my health insurance because I was getting help from the state insurance and they were very patient and understanding and still saw me as a human being instead of just some drug addict. It took about a month for my insurance to actually be available but I was seen but my provider once a week, then bi-weekly, and monthly. If you explain your situation to whoever you speak with on the phone they will always listen, give advice, and help you to make sure that you are healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually. What's my insurance was accepted which Ophelia help as a wide variety of insurance is that they work with. Scheduling is always easy as long as you have access to the zoom app on your phone, tablet, computer, or if an office is available in your location. I've I've never had sit in traffic or in any lines in some waiting room at the doctor's office. Prescriptions are always ready and waiting at my pharmacy and never had any issues at the counter with the pharmacist. Thank you so much Ophelia health for helping me with my sobriety.
