I'm not really one for reviews but these people really care . When a holiday comes up I get a text informing me of a decrease in staff and how to handle a crisis situation. One on ones are friendly and non intrusive. They can and will help every step of the way if you need it . The counselor is local and always responds promptly. .I'm not gonna bash the last clinic but 100% better than they were

This program has made it incredibly accessible for so many people to get out of the rat race of active addiction and into the care of knowledgeable and compassionate staff. The people who work behind the screen are doing this work because it truly means something- it's a means to an end of such epidemic proportions of Fentanyl overdoses and deaths. People finding themselves empowered to make the change in their own space, without the hitches of commuting to and from a clinic, can continue to work, or even find the ability to work for the first time in ages. Without losing family and friends and jobs and housing by announcing they're off to detox and rehab... this is a gentler, more realistic way to save thousands, if not millions of addicted people. This program turned my life around, and my counselors have all been absolutely stellar in their understanding and compassion, knowledge, and experience. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who needs Suboxone. Ive been to a few providers, online and in person and each one has tried to be more then just a Suboxone prescriber. They always have someone bragging about their education or background in drug treatment (not the reason I'm seeing them) and/or they have something mandatory they make you participate in, like a type of online meeting they hold themselves, or an independent counciling group they have made me find on my own and then prove i went completed. That's all part of everyone's individual recovery process. If im serious about this then i know what i need to succeed ...... or i have a sponsor that directs me . Ophelia checks in, asks questions and lets you know they are there if u need them, insurance makes them UA test every few months but otherwise they stay out of ur process.... Exactly what they are supposed to do! Its all support and nothing extra.

I switched from a local Suboxone clinic to this online clinic. It was great at first. Especially since I was an established patient already elsewhere. Up until recently that is. Lately, the doctors are having "emergencies" and they cancel my appointments TWO hours before. But then ask us patients for 24 hours. If I was late or didn't show up, they would charge me. But they wont give you credit or anything when they do it to you! Jokes on them though, I gave them a prepaid card with absolutely nothing on it, because I have no intentions of missing my appointment's. And because of the issue I had with unsubscribing from emails (see below). Not my fault they cant separate the texts and emails! Today is the second time that the same doctor has cancelled my appointments at last minute. My issue is waiting until last minute to do this but expecting us patients to give them 24 hours. You dont exactly have 24 hours in an emergency situation. What I'm wondering is if the doctor just called off since the weather is beautiful today and they waited until later in the day to notify me? They start at 7am and didnt tell me my appointment for 4pm was cancelled until 2pm. They send me about a dozen text messages days before my appointment and you cant unsubscribe to them because if you do, you wont get the zoom meeting link. You also cant unsubscribe from the various emails they're also sending you at the same time. Like I'm going to forget about my appointment for my medication I take every day for almost 10 years with a small break of a year or so in the middle?! When I unsubscribed from their emails, it unsubscribed me from the texts too. The text you need to join the zoom call! I almost missed my appointment because of it. They literally give you 3 to 5 minutes to join before they cancel. Probably because of how many patients theyre seeing? I'm not sure. But you shouldn't take on more patients than you have doctors for. I've only ever seen two female doctors, besides the guy who did the initial interview on the phone. When the doctor cancelled my first appointment, I asked if there were any other doctors, only to be told theres only two. I mean its better than the last place I went to which is why I haven't left. But I will say I am very close! Got me over here wondering if I could or should just stop altogether. As I said its been about 10 years now. They just throw medication at me and call it a day. I have no guidance, no support, nothing. They ask you those "wellness questions" for the fun of it, I guess. Because they dont actually treat those conditions. They will just text you info of places you could go in your area. I'm actually waiting to see those commercials that say "have you been treated or seen by" for this company. Especially after reading the other reviews. Whats funny is they are only using the 5 star reviews on their website from Google reviews. That alone should tell you all you need to know! In the beginning, if you would have asked if I would suggest this place to others, I would have said yes. But now, I'm not so sure I would. I feel like the only positive is that you can do the appointments in the comfort of your home. If you do it quickly enough that is. I have two different insurances too but yet always seem to get a $10 copay (that my secondary pays) after my appointment. I always have to message them and have them send it in. It doesnt do it automatically, I guess. But if I didn't argue with them about it and just paid it, I wouldn't know this. Makes me wonder how many are paying when they dont need to.

They are usually available 9am-8pm. Everything (from scheduling to appointments) are at the tips of your fingertips. Done by phone. (If you're not able to connect with the zoom, no worries, they will call). & They're SPEEDY! SUPER supportive, and nonjudgmental!!!! I cannot stress this enough! They are completely understanding of ALL aspects of life, and work with you thru All trials & tribulations! I have ONE provider (unless there is an emergency). My doctor is really great and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 09/04/2024 I’ve been with Ophelia for over a year now. My previous doctor with Ophelia left but I’m still having a great experience with this company. They are very compassionate and understanding.
