I have almost 7 years sober with the assistance of Suboxone. With that being said it's hard as a working single mother to have to go to the Dr. every month, especially since I have no form of transportation where I live, so it's very convenient and easy to pick up my phone and do my appointment that way. Even with the convenience of being on the phone my Dr still makes sure I'm successful in my recovery nd communicates with my other Dr as needed and with my permission. They really make my life and recovery journey much easier.

Who would have thought it was this easy!?! I've had complete privacy in my own home to deal with my addiction in a way I feel is best and needed. No more forced groups, IOP, 12 step meetings- just one Zoom visit a week with my counselor. There's absolutely no condescension; she always is friendly, approachable, can answer all my questions. My medication is directly sent to my pharmacy. I take them as prescribed or if I feel I need one. I like that: having the responsibility of my own medication. No more running to the clinic first thing to get dosed. No more lockboxes. No more arranged transportation with missed pick ups. No more having to schedule my life around what others tell me I HAVE to do to succeed. I've been trying for 3 years to get clean. Every clinic I've been to is so strict, there's no leeway for simple mistakes that are simply human nature. 3 clinics in three years and every one I walked away from for not acknowledging that I am a 55 year old woman who accepts full responsibility for my actions. All I felt was cookie cuttered and judgement. If I need mental health help, that's available at Ophelia, also. Ophelia takes most insurances , including Medicare and Medicaid, and the application process is super easy. If you're serious about your health and sobriety, there's no better place than Ophelia! Yes, there's an Intake interview via phone. If you miss an appointment there's a small fee- BUT Ophelia sends plenty of texts as reminders and just to check on you. You're not forced to respond, unless it's confirming your upcoming counseling session. Look, I know me best. I want to live sober and clean, on MY terms. At MY pace. Most of all, I enjoy total anonymity. It took me only two weeks to detox and be drug free, with the assistance of prescribed comfort meds. I'm at my sixth week, still clean, with only one urge, which was taken care of with a Suboxone and a Clonidine. Two weeks! Private, at home treatment! Please, please at least try this program. Fast and easy to get the help I need for me. And my friends. I had a friend get his medicine within 48 hrs. Mine took about 2 weeks but that was because insurance. And you can be 100% honest if you mess up.

Before I started Ophelia, I was the quintessential opiate addict. I was a petty thief with nothing to my name, barely able to hold down an entry-level job. Switching to Suboxone was difficult. I had to adjust to life without the rush that prescription opiates provided. The walk-in clinic was less than ideal. You had to have appointments every week, and this made it near impossible to work full time. No employer wants to hear that you need 5 days off every month for Suboxone maintenance. Ophelia came along, I gave it a try. Instantly, I could tell the staff were well-versed in addition and dealing with addicts. The convenience of making appointments over Zoom calls blew traditional clinics out of the water. I worked my way up to become a supervisor for a plumbing company. I was able to easily make work/social commitments without having the stigma of being "in treatment". The appointments are quick, to-the-point, non-judgemental, and offer a real human connection. I have my own place now, a nice pickup truck, and an amazing girl by my side who gave birth to my little angel, my son. I have the family and career I always wanted, thanks to Ophelia. Anyone who is like me - willing to get help, but unable to make a traditional clinic work - I highly recommend Ophelia.

I am currently free from drugs 12 years because of the support of family and friends and medication options available to people in recovery. Since joining ophelia about 6 months ago I've become less stressed with time and dates for the appointments needed in person to recieve the medication. They are always a available no matter time or day they answer the call they respond to any and all messages and there are so many ways to contact them. I love it. They make it so convenient. But if u pay outta pocket it gets to be expensive. It’s damn near a hole car payment every month. And with things being so expensive now a days doesn’t help the fact. I get doctors need to get payed but if they really cared about peoples sobriety it would be a lot more affordable. But other than that it is a great program.

Great place to get help! The PA or NP I see monthly is phenomenal. Always uplifting, always helpful. Always looking for new ways to push forward to help you achieve your goals. Would recommend to anyone struggling with addiction, or any mental health issues. Pricing could be a little better, but they do take some insurances.
